Early Life and Career

Niclas Füllkrug was born on February 9, 1993, in Hannover, Germany. He began his football career with local side SV Werder Hannover before joining Hannover 96's youth academy in 2006. Füllkrug made his professional debut for Hannover 96 in 2012 and spent four seasons with the club before moving to 1. FC Nürnberg in 2016.

Overcoming Adversity

In 2018, Füllkrug suffered a severe knee injury that sidelined him for several months. Despite the setback, he returned to action in 2019 and had a breakout season for Hannover 96, scoring 14 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances.

National Team Debut
